Our Story

Black Star Metalworks doesn't sell off-the-shelf. Every build starts blank — a photo you send, a rough idea, a sketch on the back of a napkin. We CAD it, quote it straight, then build it. No catalog, no shortcuts.

What we build

Custom smokers and grills — cart-mounted, trailer-mounted, insulated fireboxes, reverse-flow, competition rigs finished in your colors. Custom trailers and equipment haulers built around the gear you actually run. Fire pits, outdoor kitchens, and steel furniture built to live outside. If it can be welded, it's on the table.

How it works

Every custom job starts with a design deposit — that locks in your build slot and gets the CAD process moving. Your deposit is credited toward the final price; the balance is due when the work is done. No guessing, no surprise invoices.

We come to you

Need a repair or a weld done on-site instead of a shop drop-off? We run mobile welding for field repairs, equipment fixes, and structural work.

Design first

Want to see it before you commit? Our CAD/blueprint design service gets you a full 3D mockup and dimensioned drawing before any steel gets cut — and if you move forward with the build, that fee comes off your total.
